Are You a Christian ?

Wow! Hard to believe that February is upon us in this new exciting 2018 year. We had a great Valentine's dinner at The Cabin last Saturday night and a big thanks to Carol Byers for putting together the fun night and great dinner. We are looking forward to more great fellowship opportunities at Concord throughout 2018. Keep a close eye on our Facebook page and the calender on this website for what is in store for you.

We are very excited about the construction starting this week on our new fellowship hall/community building. Pictures of the building progress can be seen on our Facebook page. This new facility is going to have such a ministry impact and expanded outreach in our community. Our goal is for this building project to be completed in time for VBS this year. I want to thank all the generous donations to date and I know God is doing a great work here at Concord. We invite you to come visit and grow with us this exciting new year. Our vision is to be a mission minded Church reaching out to others with the love of God. We give God all the glory for the great things He has done!

We are truly blessed to be pastoring at such an amazing little Church that is full of people with servant's hearts and the desire to change lives around them. I believe in my heart that this year God is going to blow us away with some amazing new growth. Our goal is to be an outreach in our community to keep reaching one more for His Kingdom. Always be ready to tell someone about the hope you have in Jesus and don't miss an opportunity to share His love! Have a very blessed week!

Love you all,

Pastor Craig

I am going to leave the message points from "Let Go and Let God" posted here on the welcome page, as we all need to let God have His way in our lives on a daily basis. God poured out his blessings on the Church in  Acts 2:41-47 and He wants to do the same for us today! The four steps we must take as believers to "Let Go and Let God" are the following:

1) Claim Our Power (Acts 1:8)

2) Accept Our Mission (Matthew 28:19)

3) Unite in Love (Matthew 22:37-40)

4) Focus on Our Purpose (Romans 8:28)

That same God that saved 3,000 souls on the Day of Pentecost is the same God we serve today! We must unite together as a Church and Impact the world around us for the glory of God! Start each morning by saying, "Lord, What would you have me to do?"   When we have a T.G.I.F. day (Today God is First), we truly "Let Go and Let God"!

Folks are truly excited about the growth and vision God has placed upon our hearts. We come to Church for one purpose and that is to worship God and experience His amazing love as He changes lives each service.

Wednesday nights we continue the great time of fellowship in our weekly Bible study. We are currently starting chapter 2 in our study of the Book of Romans. Romans is an amazing book to guide us as believers and clearly point the need of Jesus as our Savior. I invite you to join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

I also want to invite those in the community who do not have a Church home to come and grow with us. I feel God has led  us to be a Church that everyone is invited to come as you are and allow God to make a difference in your life! Too many times we want to judge people because they are different than us and that is not what God wants for His Church. Hope to see you real soon at one of our morning services at 10:30 a.m. I believe you will enjoy our worship services and quickly feel you are part of our church family!

Please continue to pray for the Church and our staff as we reach out to the community with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Remember if you don't have a Church home, you have a family waiting for you to join us here at Concord General Baptist. I hope to see you at one of our services in the near future. Have a blessed week in the Lord!
